Every individual is different with a personal set of challenges and aspirations. Coaching is a deeply personal process that requires honesty, trust and transparency on both sides. I work closely with my clients and care deeply about achieving the outcomes and results they desire. A key focus in my coaching technique is on developing emotional intelligence attributes, as these are one of the most important factors in achieving balance, contentment and success in all areas of life.

As a skilled and experienced presenter and speaker, I work with the organization to deliver exactly what they need. Board Induction
Without proper induction, a new director will always be playing catch up to his or her fellow directors. This session is designed for the board secretary to design and administer a process that ensures the director can make an informed and confident contribution early on. We look at areas to cover in induction, when and how it should be conducted, the role of key stakeholders and documents to provide the new director.
Board Conflict Resolution
The session focuses on why conflict is all around us and how we can reframe our approach to conflict as a powerful tool in the boardroom. We examine the mindset and ground rules to promote healthy debate and examine the key roles of the board secretary and the Chair in creating the culture, environment, and systems to facilitate and resolve board conflicts.
Using EQ to Drive Board Success
So much of the success or otherwise of boards is focused on their behaviours. This session enables board members and those who support them to identify how boards can drive success and impact by being role models for the characteristics that will drive success throughout the organization. We identify the behaviours and qualities of the most effective directors.
What Makes a Great Board Chair
We examine the key functions of the Chair as a facilitator, leader, speaker, coach/mentor, mediator and role model for integrity, break down key tasks, and how to do them well (such as building consensus) and examine the key characteristics, skills and attributes of truly effective chairs.
Board Dynamics – A Key to Effective Oversight
Helping boards understand how the right board dynamics can have a significant impact on their ability to perform effective oversight over management performance, and what they can do to contribute to creating the right systems, processes, and behaviour.
